It's waterproof BUT.

Since both sides are made of clear plastic, it is not safe to keep a credit card, driver's license and/or cash with your phone in this case. Even in hot weather (about 82 in total) the body heats up and prevents the phone from taking good pictures - all the shots looked like we were in the fog. The case got so hot several times that the iPhone stopped working. If it's only been used for underwater photography I think it's a good deal.

Product was as stated. Took it on vacation to the beach and it keep our phones dry n free of sand.
