So it worked for me. I used it because my artist had a heavy hand 😅. It works well, but I was concerned about not being able to sit still in areas like the collarbone, armpits, neck, and ribs. So far I've only used it on my chest. A little advice. I wouldn't pre-apply it because it makes applying the stencil more difficult. The stencil comes out faded as if unable to adhere to skin. Another reason not to apply it beforehand is because I feel it doesn't help. There is only slight numbness in the area after the skin is broken. The pain does not relieve, but helps with discomfort. The artist can use it to smear the area instead of what they would normally use when tattooing.
