Review on Enhance VR Experience with 3D Printed USB Radiator Fans: Extend Valve Index VR Headset's Lifespan and Keep it Cool by Ryan Gilliam

It's a 3D printed device with issues

I really don't like products that don't say they're 3D printed for what they are. Especially if it was printed to decrease the support rather than increase the integrity of the structure (I'm talking about the 4 prongs of support where the bottom layers of extrusion are visible in my photos). And if not sold on thingyverse by the original author, the design is a copy. I would say that this product works almost completely. Except that it opens up a bit below (see photo). So you may need to tape it back. The switch is convenient and you don't notice the fans while playing VR. However, you are far from the night silence. Not bad, but not great either. I ended up getting another 3D print from a friend and built a fan for $30 that looked a lot quieter and cooler than this one.
