This soap lathers well and cleans very well with very little soap... But I'm not a big fan of the scent. Black cherry is usually one of my favorite scents, but this one doesn't smell like it. It smells like regular cherries - fake cherries, and it actually stays with you for quite a while after you wash your hands with it. It really reminds me of some of Renuzit's fruity gel air fresheners which have an unpleasant artificial smell. I've been using this hand soap on and off for about a week now and I'll admit that the scent has gotten stronger on me and I'm not as upset about it as I was at first. HOWEVER - this soap is still $8 for an 8.45 ounce bottle. It's not very expensive, but it's not cheap either. I'm willing to spend that much on hand soap IF it works well AND has a scent I like... But I wouldn't spend that much money on this faux cherry scent, even though it works well.
