Review on πŸ₯€ Olicamp Space Saver Cup - Metal, Size: One by Jacob Thorson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Hard travel mug: paper and plastic

High quality polished stainless steel made in India. Holds 16 ounces with about 1/2 inch up. Unfortunately without a lid. Weighs an impressive 165 g / 5.8 oz. A single-walled titanium bowl of about the same size (like the Snow Peak 600) would weigh half as much but cost three times as much. External dimensions including folded armrests: H 9cm x W 10.5cm Internal dimensions if you want to fit your water bottle: H 9cm x W 9.3cm Sizing on side is in ounces only, no metric measurements. Lines and numbers are embossed on the metal so they are visible from the inside. This makes them more useful when filling, but also a nuisance when cleaning - food can get caught in the small concave marks inside the cup. ---------- Update: I didn't see this offer on Revain, but if you look elsewhere you should be able to find the "Olicamp Space Saver Aluminum" mug. It is identical to this one except: - The handles are riveted instead of welded, making cleaning difficult as the rivets penetrate. - Because it's aluminum, the mug weighs only 98g (3.5oz), which is much lighter than this one. - Although lighter, it holds 4 more ounces (20 ounces total) with room to spare. Additional capacity costs additional height; it's still the width of Nalgene. If you're looking to save weight and cleaning isn't a huge issue since you're basically boiling water, this can be a great lightweight alternative. Assuming you're okay with aluminum.
