Very well packaged, the box was dented but the table was fully protected. I ordered two square walnut tops and both tops looked great. Note that since there are no pre-drilled holes on the legs you will need some muscle to drive in some screws, but I don't mind. I got a cordless drill but decided not to use it and instead went with the old pattern. An assembly tip I used on the second table is to screw in the four bottom screws in front of the sides, opposite directions first. Also tighten and loosen the leg screws on the top corners to align the sides and insert the sides (of course) - I didn't do this that often for the first table - it's easier I found. I like it and it feels solid and well made, not cheap at all. Wife likes it too and usually prefers to only shop at real estate sales. There was an additional smaller screw in a box that was harmlessly ignored, but it was there by accident. They offer additional services, another mark of class (or human understanding).
