Very well packaged, the box was dented but the table was fully protected. I ordered two square walnut tops and both tops looked great. Note that since there are no pre-drilled holes on the legs you will need some muscle to drive in some screws, but I don't mind. I got a cordless drill but decided not to use it and instead went with the old pattern.
