Review on πŸ’» Roost V3 Laptop Stand: Versatile, Portable Stand for PCs and MacBooks by Kenji Townsend

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really wanted to like this stand. A lot of. However.

The design seems clear to me. The materials appear to be of poor quality. It keeps flexing - I don't drop my laptop too often (it did, but because the front handles grip so hard it slams the laptop and stand together). Most of the time, the curve exits at different heights on the left and right, causing my laptop to shake when I try to use the keyboard. Basically, he continued to curve to the left. It seems to me that this site suffered more from the inferior casting of parts. I finally decided to return it (only it's so light and weight is very important to me). But in the end it flexed so that both sides are now compressed as low as possible (lower than the lowest official setting) and actually the new height and angle works pretty well (better than table height/table). I'll just try not to bother him any further. (However, it's difficult when the handles on my laptop are so tight that I have to struggle to get it out when I want to swap it - which I just won't do anymore.) Like I said, I really want to like this rack. I hope that the next version will find better materials to work with. Or maybe a manufacturer that molds them more precisely? Or both.
