Amazing travel stand well worth the money!

One day I saw a traveling colleague of mine using this and was too busy to ask, but besides that it impressed me and inspired me to look for foldable laptop stands on Revain. Immediately found Roost as a foldable laptop stand. I was a little confused by the price tag at first, but I've seen positive reviews and videos. Since I've been enjoying writing in cafes lately, I decided to give it a try. When I first received it, I was surprised that it took longer than I expected to fold. But luckily…

  • Delivery was very quick

Roost vs. Nextstand for Laptop Accessories

I recently bought a 2016 Macbook Pro 13" laptop and needed an ultra-portable travel stand. After doing a little research , I came across the Roost stand, a foldable laptop stand that became very popular on Kickstarter. However, a Chinese copycat stand called the Nexstand has recently started selling on Revain.Surprisingly, there was a big price difference between the two - the Roost was $75 and the Nextstand was only $25 I was trying to find a comparison between the two to understand why the…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Not worth it for computers and accessories

I have the original Kickstarter perch stand and the newer version listed here. Overall, this is a GREAT product, but buyers should be aware of what I think is the most important piece of information: you MUST use an external mouse and keyboard when using a stand like this, or a stand that increases the effective height of the laptop. This is pretty easy to understand when you think about ergonomics and what's good for the wrists is bad for the neck. The elevation changes the angle of the wrists

Pros
  • Worth it for the money
Cons
  • No form required

I really wanted to like this stand. A lot of. However.

The design seems clear to me. The materials appear to be of poor quality. It keeps flexing - I don't drop my laptop too often (it did, but because the front handles grip so hard it slams the laptop and stand together). Most of the time, the curve exits at different heights on the left and right, causing my laptop to shake when I try to use the keyboard. Basically, he continued to curve to the left. It seems to me that this site suffered more from the inferior casting of parts. I finally decided

Pros
  • Acceptable

  • Some flaws

You get what you pay for - buy a real Roost stand!

This stand is a lifesaver when raising the laptop screen on my desk to an ergonomic height to match my external display. It's lightweight and portable, so I can use it when I'm going from conference room to conference room or to other clients throughout the day. It's strong and stable enough for light typing and mouse use, although that would be pretty bad for your wrists, so I pair it with a small wireless keyboard and mouse. I have both the Roost stand and a copy of the Nexstand and prefer to

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Not bad

That is amazing. After I was diagnosed with a herniated disc.

This thing is amazing. After being diagnosed with a herniated disc, I needed to do something about my posture - I would often spend 12+ hours at the computer, most of the time hunched over the laptop. I also have a slight arch in my upper back, including a forward tilt of my head and rounded shoulders. When I finally got serious about it a few months ago, I bought a Lumo Lift and started using an old Griffin Elevator stand. It helped a lot, but the Griffin stand didn't elevate my computer very…

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Ideal for digital nomads and other degenerates

So you're a digital nomad! You are a freelancer who also sells t-shirt designs online and you can live anywhere in Thailand for as little as $20 a day. Congratulations on your newfound freedom, dude! And while you might not be lounging on my couch, I can help you choose between Roost and Nextstand. Both Roost and Nextstand are good for keeping your monitor at an ergonomic height when using an external keyboard. If you post a picture of your laptop on Instagram with the beach behind it and the…

The Roost 2.0 vs. Nexstand K2

Hacker I tested two popular laptop stands on the market - The Roost and The Nextstand. Roost launched with a Kickstarter campaign in June 2013 and worked so well that it later spawned several imitators. Nextstand Laptop Stand - Portable Laptop Stand - Laptop Stand for PC and MacBook is one of them. They're both great racks and will work as intended, but here at Pack Hacker we want to dig a little deeper. Portability: Roost immediately looks smaller. We weighed them ourselves and the Roost stand

Pros
  • FITS ALL LAPTOP - This durable laptop stand can support virtually any laptop weight and features quality craftsmanship where it matters, including rubber inserts to protect your computer
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models
