Review on ๐Ÿ’ป Roost V3 Laptop Stand: Versatile, Portable Stand for PCs and MacBooks by Michael Gonzales

That is amazing. After I was diagnosed with a herniated disc.

This thing is amazing. After being diagnosed with a herniated disc, I needed to do something about my posture - I would often spend 12+ hours at the computer, most of the time hunched over the laptop. I also have a slight arch in my upper back, including a forward tilt of my head and rounded shoulders. When I finally got serious about it a few months ago, I bought a Lumo Lift and started using an old Griffin Elevator stand. It helped a lot, but the Griffin stand didn't elevate my computer very high, so it still wasn't at eye level. Also, it was heavy and bulky to carry to a co-working space. The roost stand seemed expensive, but it's worth every penny. It opens and closes easily and smoothly and takes up almost no space in my bag. Being taller I didn't have to use it at a lower level than the highest, but this feature seems to work well too. I was also a bit concerned that the computer seemed to have to be opened very wide at higher settings. My laptop is opened almost to the maximum, but it's not straining, and the screen is tilted just right. I have a 2012 MacBook Pro and a 2015 MacBook Air and they both work great and fit well despite being very different thicknesses. I would recommend it to anyone who spends a lot of time on a laptop. Don't wait until you have back problems to work on your posture!
