I found the Apple remote control to be too small and a bit slippery. I like slick things, but I found this remote a little clunky for my medium-sized hands. I was hoping that this case would help resolve these issues, and it does. The remote is now much easier to grip, it doesn't slip off your knees as easily, and the strap is comfortable for many reasons. In particular, hang it out of the reach of my little ones! Based on some of the reviews here, I was concerned about the edges of the touchpad, but that's not a problem at all. Everything works just as well as without the case. In fact, clicking around the edges is more comfortable when the body frames the touchpad. It may seem strange, but I think you'll understand what I mean when you try this case. It's a bit silly writing all this about such a small thing, but I really love it when something cheap turns out to be a quality product. Especially with so much junk and misinformation everywhere. If you're hesitant but hoping this case will fit the description, take it. That's great.
