Worked wonders on my ft-60, highly recommend. The only downside would be the length; If you want to be careful, this is not the best antenna. It's very flexible, although the first 3.5 inches is stiff and can use a bit more leverage to damage the HT connector. Also, the base of the antenna is not flush with the device and can create a moisture hotspot. It would be great if it had a rubber "skirt" that would be flush with the top of the device and give it a better chance of retaining water. All in all, for the price, these are all silly points.
