The picture shows a cabbage and a tomato on a stick, but it can't even hold cabbage without digging up the top of the cabbage. The rod has no spike/tip so it can be messy to put something like a tomato on it. I'm going to use a grinder to put a small dot on it that shouldn't affect the threads. The rod is easy to clean, the chain is not very. The 2-star thickness rating is based solely on the lack of a point to push the bar through objects. This article will still serve its purpose, but not as well as I had hoped.
