Purchased for PS4 games. 7 people live in my house. The build quality is bad. They are not rigid and if you hold them to one side you can feel them flex. The volume is not loud enough. However, I had to adjust the sounds on my PS4 to make the voice chat louder and the in-game music quieter. The noise cancellation isn't really an advantage on them, but I have 7 people in my house including 5 kids (4 of them under 11) so this is probably a real issue. I have no complaints about the quality of the microphone. Simply put, if you want a budget-friendly headset, this is it. You really do get what you pay for. If I was looking for a good headset I would have spent more. As for buying this item for kids who tend to be rougher on their stuff, it probably won't last long. I wouldn't buy them for a child under 14 as younger kids are more likely to break them down fairly quickly.
