When it comes to quality, Samsung is the gold standard for SSDs. In terms of support, maybe not so much. This drive is shipped "blank", unpartitioned, unformatted, and without instructions. This is a disc in a box. The included cloning software is even more buggy than it used to be. It does not recognize any non-Samsung drive in the system. even if you are copying from non-Samsung drive to Samsung drive. Does Samsung think they earn goodwill by corrupting their software so badly that it discourages people from switching to Samsung drives? This closed-wall mentality needs to be reconsidered. Open your software better on every drive and convince customers. What do you have to lose? The lack of ready support cost them two stars. I've been using Samsung drives for years, but there's really no excuse not to put yourself in the buyer's shoes. especially in this increasingly competitive field. High quality SSDs are popping up everywhere. This is not the time for Samsung to confuse and frustrate customers, especially after we've invested our money.
