Super light and fun printer - LOVE IT!

So I'm new to 3D printing, which means Brand Spanking New. I have never 3D printed anything before purchasing this printer. I actually bought this for my 10 year old son as 3D printing is an elective he will be studying in the new school year. I've been waiting to write this review because I really wanted to test it out and see what problems come up. Yes, dad has taken this printer since we bought it. I'm telling you it's incredible. Almost a plug and play printer. The build is easy, the first print is a lot of fun (small cube) and I'm amazed at how much fun it is. The PROS of this are basically what I said above and that I had almost no critical issues. 1. Very easy to load and unload thread2. Lots of helpful YouTube videos to get you started3. Super clean design and easy to control what is going on. The cons of this printer are: I'm still trying to figure out the FlashPrint software. Not easy to find, then download was difficult, I assume it's due to compatibility issues between Chinese and English systems, but that's just a guess. FlashCloud was relatively easy to set up. One thing I noticed about FlashCloud is that from early in the morning (let's say 3-6am - not really sure) it seems to go around the Pacific time zone. Once we get past 11am FlashCloud seems to be up and running with no issues. That's all I have at the moment. There are some printing issues that I can't attribute to the printer, but rather my newbie to 3D printing. This may change over time, but I haven't had any issues with the recommended settings in FlashCloud. There are very few strings, and I mean VERY few. Some very small bumps on the edges but I think it will improve as I improve. If I could ask the manufacturer for any updates, they would be: 1. Include a cable to connect the printer to desktop computers and make downloading the FlashPrint software easier. This will really help if you want to print, but FlashCloud is finicky or cranky when logging in. Also, USB doesn't work without FlashPrint slicing to convert to G.2 files. Allow printing MF files directly from Microsoft 3D files, that will really make the process easier, but then again, I'm new to 3D printing so I know.3. The live camera is good, but I didn't find it useful for new users. The delay in monitoring can be as much as half a minute (when using FlashCloud), and unless you like watching paint dry, or perhaps have quality control issues, it's not really necessary in my humble opinion. All in all I highly recommend this printer to all 3D printing beginners, it is so easy and fun to work with. Very little noise and I haven't printed with ABS yet, but soon, very soon.ps All the detail photos were done with TinkerCAD - again, HOW amazing! LOVE this printer.
