This is a cheap little thing, but it does a great job with my contacts. A bit of a learning curve, but great for using in place of a fingernail. Used the last one until it broke (cheap as I said) and was absolutely lost until my new one showed up here. The only downside is that in my case it's not suitable for travel, but I bought a small one, so this isn't surprising. It also comes in its own box so it's not really a problem. Just had to bring two suitcases instead.
