As I have used many different cases and protective cases for my watches, I have particular doubts about their durability. To date, this case has received gold deal approval. Not only does it feel very durable and we assemble it, it also has tons of options with different straps and accessories in the box. The locking mechanism that holds the 'box' to the watch is solid so make sure you squeeze it well to close it, but other than that assembly was very easy. Changing and installing straps requires minimal skill. Overall a great purchase.
