Review on 🔆 Antec Bias Lighting for HDTV: Reduce Eye Fatigue & Enhance Image Clarity with 51.1-Inch Cable by Jazz Rajasingam

This item is very poorly made (as bad as the self-adhesive LED string and on/off switch I think). My first order had a faulty on/off switch that would get stuck in the on position and sometimes cause the string to flicker and short out. My second one seemed to work fine but the solder joints connecting the power cord to the LED string came loose on their own - seriously - I hooked it up to the TV and then (surprise!) it stopped working and when I did the Unplugged TV check I noticed that the USB power cord is just hanging down and nothing is plugged into it. I called Revane and they did their best to put me at ease and sent me to the THIRD light. This one works, and the only real issue I've had is that the glue on the end of the cord isn't strong enough to prevent the cord from bunching up. I secured by attaching both rope and twine (god knows I don't want another one falling out) to the back of my panel with some tape. Now that I have a working one, I'm enjoying it. I usually prefer to watch in total darkness, but the offset light comes in handy when I'm not, e.g. B. when I'm just watching TV or playing games. While I can't say it increases contrast by much on my TV, it keeps blacks black and certainly reduces eye strain, especially when watching for hours. My TV is a 55" VT60 plasma and the cord is attached at the top of the back, maybe 2-3" from the top. My back panel is painted Mark Twain olive (semi-gloss) and the light works as advertised, no glare - just a soft glow. For the price and quality I wish I could give this one more stars but as my first two were faulty I have a hard time recommending it. To add fuel to the fire, I just ordered a monitor version of the same item (6 LEDs only) and thought I must have been really unlucky with my first two orders as it was really difficult to get the chained LEDs to work properly ? Well I guess I'm ravenous for punishment as my monitor kit arrived today and - surprise surprise - I open the box to find a rope snapped in three pieces. UNREAL. So go back to the UPS store AGAIN to send another one back. At this point I'm having a really hard time not lowering my rating to 1 star and advise against buying it. If you can get one that works and comes safe and sound, it's a nice touch and a simple mod that makes your TV more enjoyable. Hopefully I'm just unlucky and others don't have the same problems as me.
