When the flashlight arrived, I charged it immediately and was able to use it in the evening. This worked great when I was cleaning up behind the dogs in the yard as the first shot is so bright it's almost like daylight. There is a second setting that can be used like a regular flashlight, but the first setting is just WOW! If you lost a small object on the floor, place it on a bright light and you will definitely see it. I can't believe how big this flashlight is. It's also a bit heavy so I think it's good quality and if you're out at night it can also be used for protection. I recommend this flashlight if you want quality, bright light!
