I like things that work the way they're supposed to, and it just works. It has 2 modes, light and medium. The big button at the end makes it easy to switch between them. The flashlight feels durable and can be carried at night as it serves as a self-defense tool. It's a good size but not as long and heavy as the old Mag lights. Feels strong and well built. Contains 6 AA batteries. I am very happy with my purchase. Hope that helps!

The Energizer TacR-1000 is a great flashlight! I am a police officer and I work 12 hours a day but on the night shift. I often use a flashlight so I decided to give it a try. The charge lasts the whole shift and longer. The brightness (two levels) is great for different aspects of my work. The size is a bit bigger than I like as I have to carry it around with me, but it's not very bulky so it really wasn't an issue. Overall a great flashlight. I will use it on my shift!

If you have an ordinary flashlight, throw it away and get this one! It's like a ray of daylight in your hands. It is so bright that you can find a needle on an oriental carpet of flowers. I did it and it was so easy. I like it and I don't need to buy batteries. Simply charge the flashlight and it will last for weeks without losing its brightness. When you get one of these, you'll wonder why you didn't get it sooner. I believe the video is very lost when uploading.

When the flashlight arrived, I charged it immediately and was able to use it in the evening. I saw it here, was curious and ordered it. Very beautiful. It appears to have the same internals as the Vision HD series but without the digital focus. This flashlight seems to be very durable and bright enough. I appreciate the fact that there aren't 20 different "steps" to go through to disable it. It has a bright mode, a dim mode and a flash that is activated by holding the button down so it only takes two clicks and the light turns off unlike others where you toggle between 5+ modes need to turn it off.
