I liked that they reached every corner I needed. The ceiling was 11 feet high and was dirty. There were dust balls on every inch of the vents and they took care of everything. I thought about buying a rag that will catch dust, but I didn't want to buy more than 50 disposable rags to get the job done. These worked great. They do not retain the necessary dust. Moving it side by side creates a large ball of dust, which then falls to the ground. I put on a mask and face shield to avoid contact with dust particles (recent owners never cleaned these vents). The dust particles in the air disappeared after a few minutes. I wetted the fluffier Fabuloso and water to better flush out the vents and it didn't result in any dirt getting in.
