I've always had trouble cleaning under the fridge between the cooling grids. None of the vacuums I've had had a tool that receded more than an inch or two. this tool comes to an end without jamming and problems. Some people complain that it doesn't flatten out after shipping, but I put it in a sunny window for two days and all the creases are gone. I highly recommend it. Eric
