Review on πŸ’† Skin-Friendly Blades and 5 Attachments - Philips Norelco Multigroom 3100 QG3330/49 by Dawn Wilkinson

Much trouble with the

. I first bought this trimmer in 2018 for $20 so why is it selling for $120 now? Who is pocketing the extra $100? Also, this trimmer comes in very wasteful packaging - a green plastic insert with cardboard inserts, all packed in a plastic case that is VERY HARD TO OPEN. I had to use a lot of muscles to cut through the plastic and I ended up cutting myself on a piece of plastic. The amount of plastic and cardboard in this packaging is so outrageous that I doubt I would buy another Norelco product. I don't understand why modern companies don't care about the environment. So far I have used a Norelco QT4000 trimmer. This trimmer had a more comfortable shape than this trimmer and was more attractive. This trimmer trimmed my beard well but I would have preferred to use my old trimmer which was more convenient. There's one more thing: built-in warp. Once the battery runs out (meaning it won't fully charge or stay on for even one shave), you'll need to throw the trimmer away. The trimmer itself may still work perfectly and could last another year, but Norelco will advise that a new battery cannot be fitted so your trimmer (which is in no way recyclable) will have to be thrown away. Landfill where toxins are leached out for 500 years. This kind of planned obsolescence is really outrageous. I would like to point out that Norelco CAN design such devices to work whenever they are connected to the network. In fact, Norelco trimmers used to be like that, but not anymore. As soon as the battery runs out, the trimmer turns into garbage. Norelco is backwards in every way: more wasteful packaging, higher prices, redesigned products to make them less user-friendly, built-in obsolescence.

Pros
  • for men. Nice
Cons
  • . Obsolete model
