Sports shorts are great value for money. The material, both the black outer layer and the inner lining, have a very soft feel, which is to be expected since they are mostly made of polyester. I wear a size 44 on the waist and a size 3xl fits well and can probably accommodate a slightly larger waist due to the elastic waistband and drawstring closure. I would not recommend wearing underwear as multiple layers negate the quick drying benefit. There is some support from the inner lining so you can go without extra underwear I think. This is especially nice because you can use it to do stretching and other exercises with a wide range of motion. They also just feel better than your regular mesh athletic shorts. I wish there was sizing information on the product page but I got lucky with the size 3xl.
