OK, but now the printer turns off between jobs.

Not sure if they are really compatible. The printer (XP-820) complains that these are not Epson cartridges, which is what I expected, but now starting a new job is becoming problematic. The printer goes offline and does not restart. I think this is because the drivers detect incompatible cartridges and turn off the printer between jobs. It will not activate for a new job unless you physically turn the printer off and back on between uses.
