First off, never put anything valuble in this box ands expect it to keep that thing safe. I bought this for use in the escape room that I work at and for that purpose it is perfect, its small and has no sharp edges and looks that part for this particular room. It wont pop open accidentaly and the locking mechanism works well. it is perfect for me because people are suposed to be able to get into it to find their next clue and for that it doesnt need to be secure.if you where to actualy put money in here it would be laughably easy to get to. first off, someone isnt going to bother tampering with the lock because the entire box is super easy to swipe and conceal in a pocket, it is very small. As for the security of the lock, it can be picked without too much difficulty. It doesnt matter though because the pin that goes through the hinge can be pushed out with a paperclip, bit of wire, etc, and the box opened from the back.So its great for a kids piggy bank or for any aplication where secutity isnt an issue. for anything valuble, best give this one a pass.
