Air quality is a big problem these days, especially on the West Coast due to the recent wildfires. I researched the area and found this model to be the cheapest. and effective for my needs. I am now on my third set of filters and change them every three months. The ionization feature uses new technology that does not produce ozone like older ionizers do, which is actually bad for your respiratory system. The new design effectively charges air particles negatively and throws them to the ground. Evidence lies on my tiled floor every day. Effective use with regular vacuuming will result in a much cleaner home and air quality. I strongly recommend considering this product. Completely satisfied with the acquisition costs and further performance. I've owned it for almost a year now. The third filter set is about 7 months old. I also have a dog so pet hair is solved too. :)
