The first thing I would like to say about this is that it is an old technology, but I wanted a bigger flash card for my old camera. My niece wanted to get into photography (she's only 8 years old) so I thought it would be a good card. The closest thing to this card is that the baud rate I'm picking up isn't the true baud rate since I don't have a 3.0 compact flash card reader so I'm limited to 2.0. This card is legally 4GB. The car is built pretty well, as is any compact flash card. As far as I can tell, there are no problems with the heating. There are traditional lines on the back for writing down the contents of the card and it comes with a compact flash case. I've used it for a few shots as well as general data storage and I haven't seen any problems with the card breaking. There was a slight lag between each shot when I took the shots, so I don't have a huge problem with that. Overall this is a good compact flash card if you are trying to find a decent old compact flash card. It fits pretty snugly and you don't have to put the card in anything (it's the perfect compact flash card).
