Works great on 05 Silverado. Easy installation after a few YouTube videos. Do not remove the console from the truck. Just slide the seats forward and you can easily reach both sides of the bar. I used all new hardware except the bar. I had to use the old one because the new one wouldn't go through the lid. I didn't want to force because of the plastic. It was quite difficult to open and close the front of the lid close to your hand at first, but it's much better now. feels much more durable than the 12 year old cap and no more rips or holes. Love it. I feel a lot better under my elbow and put my hand on it as I settle into my seat. would buy again for sure.
