Works great on 05 Silverado. Easy installation after a few YouTube videos. Do not remove the console from the truck. Just slide the seats forward and you can easily reach both sides of the bar. I used all new hardware except the bar. I had to use the old one because the new one wouldn't go through the lid. I didn't want to force because of the plastic. It was quite difficult to open and close the front of the lid close to your hand at first, but it's much better now. feels much more durable…

Fits very well, no noticeable side to side wobble or unusual fit. The materials look like the originals and I don't see any difference when the lid is closed in between.
