Bought for my husband. Every night we walk 3 miles over hilly terrain on dirt tracks. He preferred wearing Croc's other shoes because our shoes get so dirty and dusty, and he liked the ease of putting them on, their breathability, and the fact that he could wash dirt off of them quickly. But he stopped about 5 times during our walk to empty the pebbles from his regular Crocs. However, he found them very comfortable and supportive and liked the aforementioned features. I looked for Crocs made specifically for hiking that were less prone to falling rocks and found these that I also liked better because they could be secured better and had better traction. He's been using these all-terrain clogs for a few weeks and says they're more secure, adjust well, and hold up pebbles better because the holes are more on the side than the front. It still gets a pebble from time to time, maybe once every two outings, but it's a big improvement over regular off-road touring Crocs. He mentioned that the insole feels a bit stiffer than regular croc shoes and his soles sometimes feel a bit more tired or sore, but he gets fewer pebbles.
