Review on Bibikoo Smart Plug 4: Efficient Home Automation at Your Fingertips by Luis Thompson

I have been using these same shaped smart plugs with Gosund and other names on them for several years. They work well, but IMHO there is AGAINST1. The shape interferes with other sockets2. The power button LED is on the side, so not everyone can reach it or see if it's lit or blinking3. This particular version has a new weirdness that I haven't seen. Normally, the power light will keep blinking/flashing to let you know it's ready to be connected to Toya App or Smart Life. The LED on this one did nothing (didn't light up at all). However, when I opened the Tuya app on my phone, a pop-up appeared almost immediately saying it would connect a new device if I proceeded, which I did. PRO1. Once connected to the app, it also automatically connects to Alexa and can now be controlled by voice as usual. Conclusion: This is a good smart plug, but I still prefer the shape of the plugs, like POWRUI's square ones, which have an LED indicator at the top and don't block another outlet. Because of the nature and shape of the LED I deduct 1 star.
