I ordered this product to fill a variety of needs. It meets all my needs quite well. Do you need 1) A reading lamp in a chair across from the room my partner sleeps in. I like this light for this purpose! I'm a student so I will read and take notes and I can put one light on my textbook and the other on my notebook. Basically, I use the "Spotlight" function for this. WARNING: This light is VERY bright. It would be unwise to use it in bed next to a partner who is sensitive to light. However, the Spotlight feature provides a very specific line of light that doesn't wake my partner up, but allows me to read. Need 2) I needed a light that I could use to walk around the farm at night which would leave my hands free. This lamp is perfect for that! It sits fairly snugly around my neck, offers directional light and gives me enough light so I don't stumble in the dark. I like this light for evening milking and caring for injured goats and I need a bright light to see the injury clearly.
