great product! Super easy to use! My son took it out of the box and burned the DVD in minutes before I could finish reading the instructions. It was so easy to work with. We received the DVD-R and it worked fine. I'm not sure about other drives. He placed the original DVD in the top tray and a blank disc in the bottom tray, and six minutes later he was done. They both showed up and you have a great second copy. If you accidentally make copies, this works fine. However, if you plan on making a large number of copies, I would recommend buying other machines that can copy more than once.
