I have an old Pioneer BDR-205 that burns BR-R D/L discs at 10x, but the same media on this drive only records at 8x. It's a faster drive by any measure, but it's slower. My disc was made in September 2020. Purchased January 2021, firmware 3.10. Out of the box, it doesn't recognize any UltraHD drives.
