You grab it with both hands and wave it about. The computer was opened, the program was installed, and it began to work. When placing your order, make sure the SATA cable is included. If you do not already possess it, you should place an order for it concurrently with the purchase of this gadget. I decided to use this device instead of the previous one, which had a USB connection but was no longer recognized because it was an ASUS product. I made several backup copies of the videos and recorded them onto multiple BD discs. Satisfied.
