6/3/19 EDIT: I encountered this issue while using this product with my Google Pixel phone. After switching to the Samsung Galaxy S10e, however, I had no connection problems. I'm pretty sure the phone is at fault and not the cable itself. My new phone charges surprisingly quickly and the connection is good and solid. Avoid these cables! They do not support a stable connection and charging keeps turning on and off. The connection seems very weak and very sensitive to movement. Don't waste your time and money on this.
