This set changed our background. Requires assembly but not difficult, just tedious. If you have a friend who comes to the rescue early, it doesn't seem to work. Just remember to separate each sheet of tassel fabric. I made the mistake of using 2 sheets for my first brush and although it looked fuller it has fewer brushes. There should be 4 pieces of tissue paper of each color folded together. You could probably get the materials to make them cheaper at the dollar store, but it's a lot more convenient. Besides, the dotted thread is a cute touch and can be reused. Tassels probably could too if you could find a place
