Good quality belt. Now some people will complain because it is not actually a 'woven' belt but a 'woven design' stamped on the belt. This is the standard uniform/utility belt that can withstand heavy loads. A "braided" strap will never stand up to the harsh conditions these straps were designed to endure. This is a standard issue for cops, security guards, etc. FYI. They last forever! I still have one from 35 years ago! Since then I've gained weight so I bought this one. The buckles don't last as long but are removable. I love this feature as I have since had several buckles that look really nice and work much better than the standard buckles that come with most belts. Until I get fat, this is the last work belt I'll ever need! I read somewhere that these belts need to be ordered two sizes up (so you have to give or take). And then one of the reviews said to order two sizes up. Here's what I did. So I actually ordered four sizes up and it's perfect! The strap is thick and very stiff, designed to be strong and hold holsters etc. With frequent use, the black will eventually wear off (like years of daily use) and then it's easy to use shoe polish to make it like new again.
