bought this for a friend who loves it. The quality is excellent. I bought another one from the police uniform store and the quality was poor but that's all they had. My friend carries his with a holster and it fits perfectly. He didn't need a bigger size. According to the retailer, order according to your waist measurement.

I was expecting a very stiff strap after reading the reviews but this strap is not as stiff as other straps I have worn in the past. It's very well done. Being in law enforcement, this belt met my expectations. Order 2 sizes up (which is common for most belts). I wear size 36 trousers, ordered a size 40 belt, fits perfectly.

Love this belt, you only hear that when you talk about quality products from the good old days, that's it baby. Very wide and fills in the loops on some of my pants, very strong and thick, seems like it could stop a bullet (not that I wanted to test that theory). Good quality belt. Now some people will complain because it is not actually a 'woven' belt but a 'woven design' stamped on the belt. This is the standard uniform/utility belt that can withstand heavy loads. A "braided" strap will never stand up to the harsh conditions these straps were designed to endure. This is a strong belt that will hold up well. I bought it long enough to carry some items in my belt. As a result I had to make a few extra holes to tighten it when there was nothing in it. This isn't a problem if you have a fixed leather hole punch, except that the new holes aren't dirty. It is no problem for me. I bought the same belt in brown and black to wear with color matching clothes.

I ordered this belt once in 2014 and I was very satisfied, I ordered this belt again and I am disappointed. This belt is of lower quality, has only 2 buckle closures (one of which stays unlocked) instead of the 3 rivets on the belt I ordered in 2014 and the buckle design has been changed. The belt looks ok but I am very disappointed in the quality and do not recommend this product. I would return this belt but it would cost me more money.

For the price and as advertised, it's fine except it's 1 5/8" wide, not 1 3/4". Only 4 stars instead of 5 because I "like" it but don't "love" it. I measured my old belt from the hole I used to the hook in the buckle. (Western trophy style buckle). I used this measurement and the belt is the perfect size using the center of the 5 holes in the new belt. Belt measurement is not butt. They allow for a buckle. The delivery was fast and I received it a day earlier than expected.
