There have been reports of people complaining of the grip moving. You will need to use pliers to remove the clip on the wider side and also tighten the clip that comes with the new derailleur. After tightening the new clamp it does not move at all. There are videos showing how to remove and install almost this product. I think this is a great replacement for the worn out boot and grip I had on my Golf. Installation was very easy after watching the video on how to do it.
