worth updating. I have 2 Zi8, Flip HD and now Zi10. Here's what's better than the Zi8: - It's a lot smaller and lighter, I'm really surprised that the reviews here on Revain put more emphasis on it. If you want to carry this thing in your pocket, the smaller size and lighter weight compared to the Zi8 are very noticeable. It's just as good, if not better. The low-light capabilities seem a bit better to me, but I haven't done a technical comparison, it's just anecdotal at this point. User friendliness. The touchscreen takes a bit of getting used to, but that's okay, I had no trouble getting used to it and it looks like the new firmware will fix the sluggishness that early reviewers complained about. - No USB popup. It doesn't bother me at all because I always have it with my laptop because there are so many devices these days that use a micro usb cable including my phone. - Price. Another bump. It's a lot cheaper than the Zi8, which still sells for over $130 on Ebay, while the Zi10 sells for just over half that price here at Revain. I don't understand why anyone would still consider buying a Zi8 when this better version came out. Conclusion: If you choose the Zi10, it's not a problem. If you already have a Zi8, I think you should upgrade if the smaller size and compact weight are important to you.
