I usually use cotton swabs but they're out of stock. I couldn't wait for them to be restocked so I decided to take a chance with them. Was pleasantly surprised. The first thing you will notice is that they are not as long as a cotton swab. They're probably about a quarter of an inch shorter. I think there is probably a little less cotton in a cotton swab than in a cotton swab. They just appear a little less prominent or not as egg-shaped. It's not a huge difference, but enough to be noticeable. Maybe in the range of 10% or so less. After using cotton swabs for many years, the length and cotton swabs are different, but after a few days, I did not miss the cotton swabs. They work great, have good packaging and are well priced. I will stick to this in the future.
