I got them because I'm sometimes commissioned to make purses for people. These things are God's grace! The person I made the bag for didn't want zippers (which doesn't suit my need to make sure everything is secure) and wanted a flap with a button. They are very easy to apply and work great! I applied some glue to the prongs to help secure the fabric a bit around them. I actually do that with a lot of things. I don't trust most cloth materials. I'm always suspicious of his plot to thwart me at every opportunity. It took a long time and my customer had to wait a bit for her item, but I was very happy with the quality and performance and she was equally happy with the finished product!
