A comb is a comb right? no I have thick hair to the waist 2 B; No comb I've bought at typical department stores detangles wet hair without hurting the scalp or pulling out strands of hair. This brush changed everything - it gently conditions my hair and moves easily through my hair, wet or dry, and doesn't pull my hair. I also like the individual "fingers" - they are flexible and move through and with the hair, not stiff and twitch/twitch. I have never used a brush like this and will always have one on hand. I also bought one for a young family member with 3C hair hoping it would make her hair care less of a pain.
