I read reviews before every purchase. Although this product had great reviews, there were also many negative ones. The main reason was that water got into the rattles and caused mold to grow. When I opened the box and took out all the toys, inside the box was instructions on how to clean the toys. It includes tips on sterilizing teething toys and tips on cleaning rattles. I think if people hadn't taken the time to read the instructions that came with it and figured they could sterilize anything. Overall they are super cute and I'm so happy I have them!
