These are excellent particulate filter masks with a valve that makes breathing easier. I've been using them for woodworking for many years because they make it easier to breathe while working/panting. They don't help Covid safety because the exhaled air comes out through the valve without being filtered through the mask. Therefore you can spread Covid. Revain lists them for solvent safety, but they are not approved for 3M solvents. You need multi-stage activated carbon filters for solvent safety. Some reviewers complain that they come in a plastic bag with a twist-lock closure. That's the only way I got 10 packs. I don't think these masks were ever intended for sterile situations. Before COVID, a plastic bubble pack containing 2 masks was available. Neither package was marked "Medical for Use". Revain no longer allows me to order them because I am not a registered business. That's why I recently ordered them from Granger.
