I was skeptical about ordering them as I only used genuine Swarovski crystals. They are made of glass, not resin or plastic. Although the plating is very bright, shiny and colorful, they definitely have a top plating unlike Swarovski which is plated on the bottom so they don't have any transparency. They are beautiful, but if you're looking for the translucency of the Swarovski Aurora Borealis, this isn't it! Still good for nails, very excellent looks and good size (they are quite big so if you don't like face bling don't buy them. BUT if you need that, get them! I'm happy with the quality although I haven't worn them yet, i think they might scratch as they have a top layer so be aware will buy them again!
