I bought them at a local store and was shocked at the price - $170 - then saw what they wanted here and elsewhere and stopped complaining. I have had foot surgery and need very good arch support. Deliver these. They seem to be made pretty well. Another reviewer compares them to Nike for fit and I think Nike runs small. They are even smaller and I had to go for 11 instead of my usual 10-10.5, at 11 they fit my feet very well. They are designed to be lace-free - the use of laces is optional. The laces are hidden in the side pocket. They dangle a bit without the laces, but don't dangle around the foot. The toe is comfortably large. If I had worn them to run I might have disagreed but I'm not and for everyday they are great. One thing I don't care about is the weird outsole structure that traps dirt and debris, so wear them on dry, relatively clean surfaces. I had them not long ago and their durability has yet to be determined but for the price they will last a while better or I won't be buying them again. They are overpriced but I need good bows and they do. They hold up well to frequent wear and I would buy them again. I've learned that when buying shoes, try to curve the sole under the arch of your foot. It should be very stiff and the insole should be firm and only flex under your toes. Otherwise they will not properly support your arches. Memory foam insoles are a bad joke.
